There are usually three reasons that you won't be able to login.
1) Incorrect Username
You try to login but you get the following message:
You have specified an incorrect username. Please check your username and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator.
This error means you are entering an incorrect username. Usernames are the first thing that the forum checks, so if it is wrong, entering a correct password won't matter.
2) Incorrect Password
You try to login but you get the following message:
You have specified an incorrect password. Please check your password and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator.
This error means you are entering a correct username but you are entering an incorrect password.
3) Deactivated Account
You try to login but you get the following message:
The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account, please contact a board administrator.
This error means your username and password are correct but your account has been deactivated, most likely due to inactivity.
In this case, please contact the board administrator for help. Please specify that you have received the 'inactive account" error.

- Re-check your username; if you kept the email that you received on registration, your username will be there.
- Remember that usernames are case sensitive, so capitalization matters. Also, spaces are allowed in usernames so don't forget to insert them if they were there when you registered.
2) Incorrect Password
You try to login but you get the following message:
You have specified an incorrect password. Please check your password and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator.
This error means you are entering a correct username but you are entering an incorrect password.
- Remember that passwords are case sensitive, so capitalization matters. Also, upper and lower case characters, numbers and special characters are required in passwords, so don't forget to insert them if they were there when you registered.
- Passwords are stored encrypted in the database, so no one, not even the board administrator, can retrieve them. If you truly have forgotten your password, the only solution is to reset it by clicking on the "I forgot my password" link that appears near the password field. Follow the instructions and you should be able to reset your password.
